Faith Based Ministry
Ugly Cry Unfiltered Blog is my personal testimony and platform to further develop my mission & ministry. This is different from the typical ministry you are used to. I call it a ministry because I’m allowing God to fully work through me in ALL areas of my life. I hope to minister to you through my testimony and God’s love.
What I believe:
I believe the bible is the Word of God. I believe in the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. I believe that I was born into a sinful (spirit of disobedience) and broken world in need of a savior. I believe Jesus Christ lived, died, and was resurrected so I no longer have to be controlled by sin. I believe the Holy Spirit is working through me and helps guide me through life.
I believe that God called me to spread the Gospel while sharing my faith. I believe that God gave us free will because He wants us to CHOSE Him (not by force). God is the only one who truly knows the heart of man. Therefore, I don’t care what your beliefs are, I want to empower you to know, love and be yourself. I believe that someone can’t truly know themselves until they know where they come from. Knowing self is knowing God.
I believe that God is calling me to actually LIVE outside my comfort zone. I need to fully dedicate my life to this mission and consistently seek the renewing of my mind. I may need to meet people in their comfort zones in order to effectively share my faith.
Ministry Foundation Scriptures:
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Psalm 138: 3 On the day I called, you answered me; you made me bold with strength in my soul.
Ephesians 1:18 I pray that the eyes of your heart maybe enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in His holy people.
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Ephesians 3:20 Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us.
Mark 12:30-31 30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
1 Corinthians. 13:4-7 4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. 5 It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Ephesians 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
Romans 5:12-14 12Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned— 13 for sin indeed was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not counted where there is no law. 14 Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those whose sinning was not like the transgression of Adam, who was a type of the one who was to come.
1 Corinthians 1:26-31 (MSG) Take a good look, friends, at who you were when you got called into this life. I don’t see many of “the brightest and the best” among you, not many influential, not many from high-society families. Isn’t it obvious that God deliberately chose men and women that the culture overlooks and exploits and abuses, chose these “nobodies” to expose the hollow pretensions of the “somebodies”? That makes it quite clear that none of you can get by with blowing your own horn before God. Everything that we have—right thinking and right living, a clean slate and a fresh start—comes from God by way of Jesus Christ. That’s why we have the saying, “If you’re going to blow a horn, blow a trumpet for God.”
